Who We Are
CPAWS-NWT currently has 1.5 full-time staff, and five Board members.
Jennifer Morin, Interim Executive Director. Jennifer has a Bachelor of Science in Ecology from the University of Calgary. Her interest in the North started from a young age and she made the move to Yellowknife in 1999. She has been with CPAWS-NWT since 2002 and mostly recently as the Senior Conservation Coordinator. She travels best by foot or canoe, except when she’s carrying her heavy little son. Her main projects include working to protect the Nahanni Watershed and Pehdzeh Ki Ndeh.

Erica Janes, Conservation Coordinator (part-time). Erica has a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Victoria. An indigenous northerner, she has worked as a naturalist and heritage interpreter in coastal BC, but chose to return to the Boreal Forest in 2003. She has dedicated her time to conservation in the NWT since 2005. Her main projects include Sahyoue – ?ehdacho, Edaiila, and outreach activities.
